Yes, we welcome all well-behaved dogs in the shop area of our bakery. We also have outdoor seating available where dogs are most welcome.
Yes, the sourdough is 100% organic and natural. All our sourdough is produced using locally sourced, organic-certified flours, water and salt from Droitwich Saltworks. The dough is fermented for minimum 36-hrs with the help of naturally occurring yeast and bacteria.
We are a bakehouse, specialising in -but not limited to- sourdough bread. We serve a variety of hot and cold beverages to drink in or takeaway. We have a whole variety of delicious, freshly made artisanal cakes, scones, freshly baked croissants and danish pastry. You will not leave us hungry!
We are unable to produce gluten-free sourdough or bread on our premises. We are able to cater to our gluten-free clients with specially made cakes, ordered in advance, however, we prioritise the safety and satisfaction of our customers above all else. As part of our commitment to transparency and responsible baking practices, we must inform you about the potential risk of cross-contamination and the presence of allergens in our bakery products.
Our bakery handles a diverse range of ingredients, including but not limited to wheat, milk, eggs, soy, nuts, and other allergens. While we take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination during production, it is crucial to acknowledge that our products are prepared in a facility where these allergens are present.
Despite stringent cleaning and hygiene protocols, there is a possibility that traces of allergens may be unintentionally present in any of our bakery items.
We welcome any queries regarding our ingredients or allergen handling procedures. Our team is available to provide detailed information about specific products to help you make informed choices.
We continuously strive to enhance our processes and ensure the highest levels of safety in our bakery. Our commitment to quality remains steadfast, and we are dedicated to delivering delightful treats while safeguarding our customers' well-being.
No, we do not have a slicing machine, and the loaves are sold as whole. Our sourdough is freshly baked every day, and due to the nature and structure of fresh sourdough, we would physically be unable to cut it using a slicer. The baking process doesn’t finish when taking the dough out of the oven, it carries on developing structure and flavour as it slowly cools. Good sourdough is accompanied by a familiar sound of cracking and popping as the bread cools, and we wouldn’t dare interrupt this process!
